About the Society
   
   
  Founded the Saudi Association for Obstetrics and Gynecology, following a meeting of the Constituent of Obstetrics and Gynecology from various health sectors in the Kingdom, which include universities, hospitals and military hospitals of the Ministry of Health, the National Guard and the private sector. It was established after the approval of the General intercourse with it to create scientific societies that serve the various disciplines which would contribute to the movement of scientific advances in the fields of science in the Kingdom. The HRH Prince Majed Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Mecca (Allah's mercy) to approve the full care of this Assembly. The meeting of the Assembly after being invited for teachers and specialists in all parts of the Kingdom in the auditorium of the Great School of Medicine at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, was elected the first Board of Directors of General under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. / Abdullah and Muslim, to keep on 21 August 1409, approved March 21, 1989.
